Omegaverse Awesomeness

The Andorra Sector is my new favorite shifter region, and this shifter world is my new treasured special place. And, well hell, this book is my one of my most beloved book of the entire year so far.

The X-Clan is screwed. The Andorra Sector has every technology this barely surviving existence could want. The wolves are safe from most threats allowing the pack to focus on scientific advancement. And who doesn't want an edge when facing a post-infection world?

But no amount of research, design, and development is going to give the Alphas of the X-Clan what they need most: mates. The Alphas are currently outnumbering Omega mates by 30:1. And the only mate an Alpha can mate with is an Omega; biologically, they are perfect together.

X-Clan is at a disadvantage in this way, Ander Cain has a revolution brewing, and his wolves are hungering for blood or pleasure.

Humans face the extinction of their kind, too; infection has turned--or killed--90% of the species' population. Mindless monsters are sitting at the doorstep of the cave Katriana lives in, just outside the Andorra Sector Dome.

Yet zombies might be a better option than starving to death. Winter is harsh, and food is scarce. Humans are a dying breed. Katriana's little human group leader has a lousy solution; only that realization of this fool's errand comes too late. The little rebel followed her leader into an unthinkable fate; she's become both the prize and hostage to the wolves.

This book is excellent — a GGDB.
The world-building? Ah-mazing.

I read Andorra Sector before I listened to it on audiobook, and it's just as good in this format. The Narrators, Kale Williams and Sara Puckett do a great job of finding the voices of Ander and Katriana. There are times when I wasn't totally sold on Kale's portrayal because he didn't necessarily read something the way I envisioned it, but, hey, it's an audiobook--it's the honest storytelling of the author, right?

There is a chapter in Andorra Sector that plagues me. I sobbed through it on the first read, and it made me cry in the audiobook too. I was first wondering if my reaction was because that particular interaction was so devastatingly sad — or if I was merely hormonal. Nope, it's just that Lexi C. Foss has the ability to rip my heart out--and she probably laughed the entire time, authors are mean, and they do that.

Sarah reads Kat as a feisty, strong woman. She's the scrappy heroine one cheers for because you want her to win every battle against her rival. You want her to win all the challenges with X-Clan leader Ander Cain. She's easy to love, and that comes through in the audiobook.

And Ander: dumb, sexy, clueless, sexy, knuckleheaded, sexy, ignoramus keeps trying to make our champion bend. Did I mention he's a dimwit? Or that he's sexy?
Well, he is.
And Kale Williams deep voice lays that all out for listeners.

You will love the push and pull in the first part of the book.
I'm a fan.

The plot is aces, and while smutty with a touch of dirty pRon, Lexi C. Foss molds these characters employing engaging dialogue and well-placed exposition. Ander's character voice within the narrative is dominant and sexy, complicated only because he is maddeningly male. Kale Williams does a great job of... well, being male. =P
All the same, it's impossible not to love the bastard. Lexi Foss and Kat bring out his best side just when you think he's a lost cause.

Elias, Ander's BFF, is charming and no trouble to adore. He's an excellent foil for Ander, and the characters have a special magic when they share scenes.

I call Elias WILF: Wolf I'd like to… you know where that is going. And when you read Andorra Sector, y'all gonna be calling him WILF too.

I suggest you read this book, but in the case, you can't, than the audiobook is perfect for the time-pressed or those who choose to consume their books this way!

And I need to read more Lexi C. Foss. We all do. She's magic.

Wow!! Get ready for a binge-athon!!

Absolutely wonderful story!!! This is a great start to the series!! The voices were done amazingly! Kale Williams...wow!! Nice voice for the characters!! Sarah Puckett did awesome!! All over you will fall into this book and stay! It was hard to stop listening! The characters suck you in & the voice overs really did an amazing job keeping the flow great!! Lexi did amazing work on this book!!

Oh. My. Freakin' Gawd!

This whole world! If your into the shapeshifter romances as well as dystopian worlds, do not pass go, do not collect $200! These males are just enough dominance with the right amount of tender submission where its warranted. It makes for a very fun and sexy ride. I'm off to get another of these! Hope Audible gets the second and third books of this series!

This was my first experience with Sarah Puckett and Kale William's narrating. They are underrated and I'm wondering why I've not heard them before today!

Omegaverse story, lots of passion and darkness

Both narrators did a great job. They both gave quality performances, and fit the characters well.

The whole Omega type scenario doesn't really appeal to me, but I love many of this author's other books, so I wanted to give this one a chance. The story is entertaining and very steamy! Ander and Kat have some major issues in the beginning; Ander is very forceful and Kat is not willing to just bow down. Ander treats Kat very badly at times; not enough consent for anything and he degrades her. Ander is an Alpha wolf shifter; the males in this story all pretty much have caveman mentality, they just expect the women to do as they direct. The men all need to learn that women aren't just for breeding; I was not a fan in the beginning, but there is improvement as the story progresses. Kat is changed against her will into a shifter and forced into heat; that's not great, she's essentially forced to mate with Ander. I wasn't a fan that the animal nature seemed to rule; Kat can't control her lustful needs. This is all a rather dark and violent story, but there are pinches of sweet. Kat is put through the ringer; I liked her strength in the beginning, but due to her being turned, her wolf instincts rule, so the original Kat isn't really there anymore. It's sad, but in the world presented in this book; sort of post-apocalyptic, it's pretty much making what good you can out of all the bad. I still don't really think omega stories are for me; too much forced mating and begging females, I like strong females that kick butt, but the story is interesting.

NOT BDSM, but GREAT shifter romance!

the negative reviews have it soo wrong. whoever said this book was BDSM needs to reread the definition. it is however emotionally heavy, so much so I had to read it alone, away from others, just to get through the tough parts. but it actually has a Happily Ever After! more than worth the credit!

Can’t get enough of this!

I seriously can’t get enough of these characters or this series! I loved every second of this and just want more. The story had me so engrossed from the moment I started it. I never wanted to pause it or stop listening from the instant I hit play. The narrators did a fantastic job! They brought these characters to life taking an amazing book and pushing it over the top! I am definitely excited for this series.

Omagaverse meets Paranormal Shifters

I’m normally not into Zombies but I’d did enjoy this story I love that Kat is just as feisty as Ander is strong! At times I hated Ander and a lot of what he did. Intense passionate Betrayal Steamy with great characters this book pretty much has it all

TW beware!

Not like Carnage shifters in the least. Ander was not a nice, caring or loving shifter. In fact he was despicable! I wish Kat had made him grovel more, but that’s the way the wolf howls. Some bloodshed and non-con/dubcon aspects relating to the MC’s. I love Sara Puckett, her male voice is decent. Kale Williams is a new to me narrator. I enjoyed his narration, his inflections vary somewhat for characters that speak without accents, and I really liked his accented characters. His female voice isn’t the best but it doesn’t detract from the story and I was able to stay immersed easily. I wish they was a duet narration like Carnage Island, but I will buy the other Audio Books in this series.

I was hooked from the get go! I would definitely recommend, one of the best shift reads.

This was a captivating and intense story!

What do you get when a feisty human female Kat, is captured by the Andorra X-Clan wolf pack? You get a pack of male shifter waiting to pounce on her to claim her as their own. When the headstrong Alpha shifter gets sight of her trying to escape, he is intrigued and wants to make her his. There is a tremendous amount of push and pull from both main characters. One is determined to control and claim this female while the other fights for a choice and freedom.

Will she submit? Will he release control? And will the others within the clan accept her as his mate? It’s not going to be an easy road ahead, take this journey and see where this road leads. The narrators did a fantastic job on this audio! You won’t be disappointed.
