Publisher's summary

He’s still recovering from his past. She might just be able to heal those old wounds.

It’s been five years since I lost my wife in a car accident.

Five years filled with lonely nights.

If not for my job on the logging crew, I’m not sure how I’ll get by.

But there’s a beautiful woman on the food truck who’s caught my eye. And soon, she’s working her way into my heart.

Tempting the Mountain Man is an age gap, enemies-to-lovers romance featuring an ex-military hero. It’s designed to be read in only one hour. If you like short, steamy instalove novellas, you’ll love the entire Lumberjacks of Blackbear Bluff series.

The story is good the characters are good

Virtual voice is a HARD NO for me. Totally takes away from the story, can’t get the emotions necessary to “feel” what the characters are saying.

Voice

AI voice ruined it completely and the story was weak but made so much worse with the robotic voice and intonation. Confusing to figure out who is even talking
