Love this new series!!!

Another fantastic collaboration for these two. I really loved the story & can’t wait to see where things go in the next one. Narration was really good. It always takes a little to get used to an accent, but I was soon engrossed with the story telling. ❤️🎧❤️

Not what I was expecting!

I usually do not gravitate towards paranormal romance novels involving those with wings, but wow!!! This may be the first world of flight that I seriously enjoyed to the point that I could not put it down. It was a little difficult at first to follow the audible due to the British accent, but once I restarted it after a few minutes, I was able to follow along with what was happening. I loved the darkness. I loved the action packed fight scenes. I loved the budding romance between the trio! I loved that they had a bond similar to that of shifters. I also loved that other supernatural beings were intermixed. I would have to liked to have had a few more details on their description to go off of. The night terrors were a little difficult to visualize in my head. I can’t wait to see where these ladies go with the next novel. I’m hooked! I might even have to admit that I had a caramel flavored coffee, because this story was too addicting not to get a taste of that craving they stirred within!

Love the story but…

The narration was difficult to listen to. The male narration was good but the female sounded all wrong and childish. She had me grinding my teeth every time she spoke and it really took effort to overcome but the storyline kept me listening.

🔥🔥Steamy🔥🔥

This was one hot little number! Steamy doesn’t even begin to describe the burning romance that evolves between Zian, Sorin and Raven all while constantly doing what was necessary to survive while fighting for their lives. It was exciting and intense filled with lots of action.

The narrators did a pretty good job with this story but it was a bit hard to get use to the heavy English accents. I usually don’t have an issue with those types of things but I definitely did initially. I did however get more comfortable as the story went on.

Overall I feel this was an interesting and steamy story and found that my best bet was to listen when after the kids go to bed. 🔥🔥🔥I look forward to the next book. Bring it on!!

DYING for more in this series ...

Wow, when Thorn & Foss get together, the end result is just: 🔥🔥🔥.

This was extremely addictive, much like the entries catalogs of both authors and as a result, I may or may not have blown off my job and life for a few hours to read it in one sitting. I absolutely cannot wait to read on in this series as there are still some loose ends that seem to promise all sorts of drama, corruption and action. (Not that there was any shortage of these things in this installment.)

I absolutely love Raven and hope to see more of her down the line.
Epic world-building.

Strongly recommend, no complaints, no errors noticed, etc. so …

Amazing world building!

I loved it! Plain and simple!!! ....what's NOT plain and simple?!?!? ...this Noir/Nora world these authors have created!! I can't WAIT for the next installment!!!!!

SPICY LEVEL 5/5. Insert drool here!!! This was a special treat that reminded me of a mix between a couple of other books of hers all made even more amazing here. I read this one third (after first and second offense). I flew through all three books!! Now to wait on the third.

Holy hotness!!! Steam level is off the charts!! I love me some M/M in my reads so this hit all my buttons. Add in this uniquely original storyline, fantastic characters and action packed, non-stop fight for your life violence and you’ve got a read you can’t pause for a second! I absolutely loved this and cannot wait for the next book!!

Great world building for a new series, and plenty of steam

This is a solid series starter, with good world building and plenty of steam. Raven was born with her black wings, something many believe to be impossible, but there she is. And she was essentially raised in the Noir system, as a result. While there is an innocence to her, having relatively little exposure outside of her all female accommodations to date, she has an edge, a strength that keeps her from being taken advantage of. Her initial foray into Noir Reformatory has her trying to kill the only other Noir who seems to be trying to help her - but she has trust issues, so who can blame her. And as a rare female in a co-ed prison, she’s always on guard. But Soran and Zian, who she is forced to live in a cell with, are intrigued by the dark haired Noir beauty, and they decide to help her. As they build trust between them, she learns to fight, they’re inevitably drawn to each other, which culminates in some pretty steamy MFM action. Zian and Soran already have a history, they fell at the same time, with Novak, the mysterious and currently in solitary for killing too many new inmates during a culling cousin to Zian. The book is a good setup and world building tool for the series, giving us the triad of Raven, Soran, and Zian as forces to be reckoned with in the prison, and Novak as a bit of a wild card that everyone seems to be afraid of. Since it is the first in the series, there aren’t a ton of answers to the overarching story, just the start of a lot of questions, but it’s definitely an enjoyable kickoff.

Audiobook review - this is done duet style, which in and of itself is fantastic. But these narrators are perfect for these characters, and it really helps to bring these pages to life. Absolutely would recommend this audiobook, as it definitely enhances an already enjoyable book.
