Another wonderful book by Amy Clipston. I look forward to the next one in this series.

Thirty-one-year-old Carolyn Lapp has never been married - but she's been a mother for 15 years. In a community with strict standards and a long memory, Carolyn knows she might never find a man who will have her and her son, Benjamin. Carolyn's family tries to marry her off to a widower with a daughter who needs a mother. A marriage of convenience doesn't sound so bad, yet despite her loneliness, Carolyn knows what she really wants: a traditional Amish family and a marriage for love.

Different story line than other Amish books

I enjoyed the book and the reading of it. sometimes the person who reads the book annoys me but I wasn't with this book.

Saul Beiler isn't exactly a widower...but his wife is long gone. His 11-year-old daughter, Emma, doesn't know that her mother fled the Amish community - and married another man - but she does know that her dad is lonely, and that a pretty young mädel just moved in next door. Madeleine's numb heart begins to thaw as she spends more time with the innocent and ever optimistic Emma. The stronger her friendship grows with the young girl, the more intrigued Madeleine grows about the humble, strong man raising her on his own.

    Very good

I loved this sequel in the series! You can read it alone but probably better to read the first 2.

Aaron Ebersol left the Amish community 17 years ago when he could no longer bear the restrictions or the constant tension with his father. Despite years of unanswered letters to his parents and the roots he's put down in Missouri, Aaron rushes back to the Amish community of Paradise, Pennsylvania, after receiving word of his mother's stroke. Hesitant to get too close to the family he was once a part of, he decides to stay at the Heart of Paradise Bed & Breakfast. Talking with Linda allows him to explore his feelings about his family and his position in the Amish community.
