Hero for Hire Publisher's Summary

A best-selling fantasy adventure set in an ancient world where the myths, the monsters and the Gods are real and humanity's only hope lies in a hero who can bring a barbarian's strength and philosopher's dry wit to desperate situations.

Multiple genre author C.B. Pratt brings a Hero for Hire to life. Armed with a wry voice and a swift sword, Eno the Thracian finds his simple mission to rid an island of a harpy turns into a mystery that shakes the throne of Zeus himself. With both Hekate, Witch Queen of the Underworld, and Aphrodite, Goddess of Desire, taking a 'personal' interest in Eno, the secrets he doesn't even know himself will become unexpectedly important if he is to overcome the Undead Army that threatens the entire world.

Having angered the great god Pan, Eno must leave Greece until the goat-footed one cools off. The High Priest of Amun in Thebes, Egypt, needs his help but is fuzzy on the details, except that several heroes have already perished after taking on the job. A job offer in Egypt seems like the perfect opportunity to escape but no assignment is ever as simple as it seems. Family issues, a depressed pharaoh, and a girl who claims that she and Eno are fated to be married are the least of his problems.
