Bounty Hunter

It had been a long ride and when Judson Law saw the small frontier town on the horizon, his spirits lifted. He was exhausted from riding for so long, and a small room with a bed would be very welcome for him. It had only been less than a week since Judson made good on a bounty and earned a decent sum. The money he had earned would be enough for a bed, and a drink. If he were lucky at cards, perhaps the amount could be stretched a good bit. "Ain't that town a lovely sight for my sore eyes. Might as well ride on towards it, and make myself at home".

Tom Kidman wasn’t afraid of dying, just of dying alone. He’d seen far too many men during the war pass to the great beyond with no family member or friend beside him. That and that alone was the only thing Tom was scared of. However, he thought that was the fitting way for an evil man to die. 

Frank Kane, bounty hunter, had been shot and left for dead. If not for the kindness of Father Mathias and his ward, Natalya, Frank would have been just another unknown skeleton with bones bleaching in the sun. Pepe Santiago, born and raised in the small barrio, decided leading a good life didn’t pay as much as he would have liked. The bandits were all brandishing weapons, and they had barged into the bank on a particularly busy day. There were several depositors just going about their business and depositing their savings. It was the perfect time for them to strike.

Everyone knew that it described him perfectly. Lincoln Dollar was a man that was all about money. He was a man that would hunt anyone for the right price, and he was not ashamed of it.

Dolores ran towards the flickering light and smoke. She ran as fast as her exhausted legs could take her. She pushed herself with all the remaining strength and endurance she could muster. The fire burned stronger and stronger until she finally came upon it. When she was right in front of the campfire, Dolores spotted a strange-looking man. The man was roasting an animal over the fire, and he looked quite intimidating. The man looked just as threatening and dangerous as Wellington, but Dolores didn’t think of that now.

Daniel Lawton was a quiet, hardworking man. He took a hard job with the railroad, putting in long, hot hours to lay railway tracks, all in the hopes of making a future for himself and the woman he loved. Once the coffin splintered into several pieces, Lincoln fell into the water. His wrists were still handcuffed, and there was no way that he could swim to safety. He was still reeling from the impact of the fall, and he couldn't kick up to the surface. Lincoln was too tired to fight, and simply accepted his fate. But it was to be a fate that even he did not expect. From out of nowhere, he felt hands grab onto him, and pull him away from the river's beckoning darkness. Whatever the force was, it was pulling him up back to the surface. Lincoln was dragged back to the shore.

The bounty hunter is comin’ to town tomorrow! Everyone had heard of the bounty hunter. Who had not? The man had reached near mythic and infamous status. He had developed a nasty reputation of always getting his man, no matter how tough or dangerous. And he always demanded to be paid fair and right. To many, hiring the bounty hunter was like making a pact with the devil himself. And for them, the devil was coming to town tomorrow.

Bounty Hunter Clay Barton has been shot and is dying but is rescued by Hiram Shakleton and his daughter Annabelle. Later, Barton learns they've been kidnapped by the Broson Boys. Now, it is Barton's turn to rescue them.

The first thing I noticed about the bullfighter was his loud and booming voice. That was the first thing that would have struck anyone about him. I was seated in the middle of the small, but packed, arena in the middle of Mexico. Beside me was Ronaldo Matanza, one of the wealthier men in the barrio. Matanza was a wealthy and powerful man with his own group of regulators that watched him wherever he went. His power reached far from just the tiny barrio he lived in, and it was not a good idea to cross him.

As a bounty hunter, Judson Law was constantly finding himself in stressful situations. After a long ride, he came into a small town in search of a hot bath, a meal, and a good rest. What he got was far more than he bargained for. Judson Law would find himself in a fight for his freedom and his life, from a very unusual source.

The bounty hunter chuckled. It was then that a young woman approached him. She looked a little beaten and exhausted, but there seemed to be a certain fire and determination in her eye. She was actually a looker if not for the curious eyepatch that she sported. It covered one of her eyes and the bounty hunter could tell that her face was very slightly contorted because of the injury to her eye. “That how you settle all your disputes at the Poker table?” she asked him. The bounty hunter couldn't place it, but she seemed to be carrying some kind of heavy burden in her heart.
