Story
Sometimes unwanted thoughts, feelings, and "stuff" can get in the way of what we want. This book will try to get you closer to where you want to be and move you beyond your "stuff". How can we do this? This book takes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and filters it down through the Yorkshire bedrock. We will use familiar examples and what I hope is a dollop of grounded humor to get you where you want to go. There are metaphors and stories about a rat in a wheat mill, a trip to the bookies, a football terrace, and several trips to the pub, to name a few. So, let's ger on wi it.
