The world is a wasteland. Danger is everywhere. Savage raiders, mindless mutants, superintelligent animals, cannibals, dangerous vegetation, and people just generally being jerks to one another. New Hope is a town struggling to survive. Now, an army of ruthless raiders is heading their way to destroy their little piece of the apocalypse. Their only hope is a man called the Librarian and a guy named Logan. Either Logan or the Librarian will have to face the horrors of the apocalypse to save the people of New Hope from a fate worse than the end of the world.

It was the most expensive bottle of wine ever sold. In 1985, at a heated auction by Christie's of London, a 1787 bottle of Château Lafite Bordeaux - one of a cache of bottles unearthed in a bricked-up Paris cellar and supposedly owned by Thomas Jefferson - went for $156,000 to a member of the Forbes family. The discoverer of the bottle was pop-band manager turned wine collector Hardy Rodenstock, who had a knack for finding extremely old and exquisite wines.

At daybreak on April 6, 1862, Confederate forces launched a bold suprise attack on the Union army, encamped in southwestern Tennesse. The battle of Shiloh, also known as the battle of Pittsburg Landing, would prove to be the bloodiest battle up until that point in United Staes history. The two day battle would cost a staggering 23,000 casualties. Both sides were stunned at the appalling loss of life. At the time, neither realized that three more years of such bloodshed were still to come.
