Outstanding

Truly unbelievable a great new twist on a life after the war and a new start

Story felt a little rushed.

I just want to say that it's not my intentionon to bash this series, I'm trying to give this series a chance, though 3 stars for this book seems pretty generous...

I'm a fan of just about anything post apocalyptic no matter how quirky it is. but, I feel like this book in the series was just pushed along to much, The writing wasn't detailed or interactive, The story line was dry, and the characters felt like cardboard cutouts, I wasn't able to relate to my favorite characters like the first book,

The fight scenes were way to basic and a bit under narrated, I just didn't get the feeling the writer or the narrator put that much effort into this one, It sounds like a first draft that needed to be polished before publishing it... also the humor was missing from this book, I had more eye rolls then chuckles. I finished book 2 feeling a pretty unimpressed and unsatisfied.

I hope book 3 in this series has more to offer then the performance and storyline this book offered.

A fun ride

likeable characters, good story, nonstop action and comedic parts throughout, narrated by the illustrious Phil Thron, makes this very much worth listening to. the author has a great imagination that brings this post-apocalyptic joyride to life.

Closest to Fallout I’ve Heard

So I have been looking for a book close to one of my favorite video games and this one really hits the right notes. It’s got a lot of sarcasm, humor, and ingenuity.

The Apocalypse Never Looked so Good

This book grabs your imagination (and sense of humor) from the start. Action, Adventure, romance and super smart bears, this story has it all. I was laughing and cheering and cussing at this book all in one chapter. Such a fun take on dismal times. I cannot wait for the rest of this series to come to audible!

The story was disappointing

This is basically a light version on Stephen King's "The Stand". I was especially disappointed by the antagonist... there is no explanation on why he would go through all of the trouble for such an elaborate rude.

I enjoyed parts of this, but the story missed for me.

Loved the fact that it had a dog❤️🐶

It was not so funny , as was advertised. So I was disappointed there . But if I wasn’t looking for this to be funny like “ Monty Python” I never would have been disappointed.
Poor choice in advertising.

good sense of humor. fun lead character. fun little story. ill look into the rest of the duck and cover series.

The apocylipse has never been this funny

I enjoyed this book tremendously. I enjoyed the humor, I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the pacing, I enjoyed the beginning, middle and end of this book.

It was sweet. It was funny. It was irreverent… and it was funny. 😂

I love the characters, the pace of the story was fantastic. A really fun summer read.
