It was just a rock. A pretty one, and it intrigued the Incas as a bauble, a trade item. It helped keep the Inca Empire afloat. The Spanish made the first recorded find back in 1600. It was still just a rock. And it subsided into the history ofthe western Amazon Basin for more than 300 years. However, it took a man of vision to see what really layinside that rock. Perhaps, therein, lies a story. Such legends, rumors, and sometimes successes, are the fodder for #TheStoryteller.
