We met Robert at the Sedona Yoga Festival and his enthusiasm for his art is quite exuberant; his work exhibits his intimacy with form and the practice. An avid yogi himself, Robert understands the intricacies of individual experience and masterfully captures the essence of Yoga in each of his models. His clients keep him well-travelled and as a result, Robert has been able to bear witness to Yoga from different international socio-economic backdrops. Recent notables, include his work in San Quentin with Prison Yoga Founder James Fox and his work with the Africa Yoga Project, yet his Painterly Polaroid Style, where he developed and refined an improvisational, labor-intensive process that synthesizes both his photographic and painterly expertise, perhaps shows best, his artistic union of opposing media to create the expression of Joy.
