COVID Truths and Myths reveals some of the obnoxious thought processes out there about COVID 19. We have Donald Trump to thank for a lot of the myths with his "I know more than the scientists" announcements or the 70 something year old pushing out policy in a "tweet".

Well, I finally snapped. After three weeks of reflection and watching too much tv, I had to comment on the political status of this country. I just couldn't take it anymore. I still may go back to raising children. I'll make that decision soon.

This week proved to me that you never stop being a parent. At any moment they might need your help and you'll be there because that's what parents do...for a while until you realize your spoiling the adult child and you put an end to it.

Dealing with this outbreak without losing your mind. How to deal with the fact that the kids may not be going back to school any time soon.

This episode is about the things we do for our children that we get to pay for when we get older. I missed last week because I was laid up with my back after doing some minor work around the house. The stuff I did with my kids like sledding and other dangerous sports well I'm paying for them now. I pretty much am useless now because of my injuries from the past catching up with me. Wrestling the kids was a big thing. Well, being 58 now the warranty on my body has run out. 

Well here's what's happening. I still want to talk about raising children as much as possible but today I went off the rails. Sometimes, controlling the ship isn't easy. I hope you enjoy it because I may be commenting on daily news and trying to figure out why this world is going to hell in a handbasket. 

This episode goes over my visit to a kindergarten here in town. It's easy to get in when your wife is the school nurse there. I still had to get my picture taken and give the secretary my driver's license. I thought it was kind of cool when she printed out a sticker with my picture on it and all my personal information including underwear size and my favorite Beatles song. The tour was a blast.
I also go over how to deal with a 5-year-old. It's not easy, but I do have some words of wisdom. Enjoy.

This has been hell on wheels these last two weeks. I can't believe what I've seen. This episode deals with talking to your children about dealing with police. Especially the bad officers who cause the civil unrest that's going on today. 
Having a white officer kill a black man on camera was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. Now, things have to change. And this generation appears to be willing to do the work that it takes to fix a broken system. 
Make sure your kids know how to protect themselves if they are participating in a march or rally. You want them to come home in one peace. Not beaten up by a bunch of adrenaline intoxicated police officers and reservists.
