    On tonight’s special we have Zulcoralis many know her by Zulco, Zulco is a very talented bartender, coworker and friend of mine who works at Anvil Bar & Refuge a locally and Nationally Recognized bar located here in the Montrose neighborhood in Houston Texas. On this episode Zulco and I talk about how she got into bartending and she’s worked through many obstacles to get where she is today. We also touch base on her upbringing and talk about how she moved to Houston to pursue her goal of working at Anvil. I had a great time recording this episode with Zulco and had the pleasure to enjoy a delicious Puerto Rican meal made by her. I’m very grateful to be working along side her, she has been taking the time outside of work to coach me and teach me about cocktails/ spirits and bartending. I’m also honored to be working with her and the rest of the talented hardworking staff at Anvil, from the barbacks  like Don Izzy, Chapin. The cooks Don Clemente, Don Reymundo. The Bar GM Tommy, the head bartender Brandon, and all the bartenders(Kory, Xander, Lily, Drew and Vic). To Zulco, thank you so much for always being so welcoming at work from the start, thank you for cooking my family and I dinner, and last thank you for taking the time to educate me and help me at work.
