God created man and woman after His own image, and part of being in His image is that we are to reflect His character. However, sin marred that image in us and distorted that character. Reflecting the heart, wisdom, and nature of God is the goal of everyone who seeks to be a godly man. The first step in becoming a godly man is to surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ, to become a servsnt. Anyone can learn rules, follow laws, and judge themselves harshly. Many false religions require that of their subjects. But we cannot become godly without the Holy Spirit empowering us to do so in suichan ungodly world. Godliness is more than external behaviors; it is the continual seeking after God’s heart

Nothing is too hard for God Almighty, you just have to call upon is name. When you find yourself in a difficult situation, calling on God by name is the best thing you can do. Knowing God’s character will help you stand firm in faith and in the power of His might. He is your peace, your comforter, your righteousness and healer. He is the one who sanctifies you and can provide for you in times of need. Knowing that God, El Elyon, is the Most High God and that there is no authority over Him is reassuring, especially when the enemy of your soul doesn’t realize that tyranny towards God and against the children of God is simply limited. How about those names……

I submit to you today that America is fighting another form of tyranny. A spiritual tyranny. “ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
