• Vicki Cooke from Plant Heritage
    Mar 4 2021

Vicki Cooke carries out one of the most important jobs in horticulture working with the world's leading garden plant conservation and research charity, Plant Heritage. Their mission is quite simple; the conservation of cultivated plants.

Tamsin digs deeper into life as a Plant Conservation Manager and the role of Plant Heritage in preserving and supporting the sharing of rare species to preserve them long into the future, for cultural, medical, culinary and aesthetic use. It's a citizen science project where each one of us can benefit from growing the plants ourselves (as a Plant Guardian) and potentially have the honour of becoming a National Plant Collection holder!

But there's much more to Plant Heritage than meets the eye...!
