This week Juliette and Ava caught up with Jess from Sung by Jess to chat all about wedding music.

Jess gives us an insight into how you can personalise your wedding day with music, how different instruments will give totally different vibes and let’s us in on her favourite songs for those extra special moments.

Jess spoke about what you can expect when requesting songs in the lead-up to your wedding day, what the day looks like for her as a musician, and when exactly you should look at booking!

We also chatted with Jess about her wedding planning journey so far as she recently got engaged with a stunning Cullen Jewellery ring! She shared her biggest piece of wedding planning advice and let us know how she plans to make her wedding day extra special!

Weddings and wedding planning can be so often glamourised, and it’s so easy to forget just how exhausting wedding planning can be! With so many moving parts and details to manage, it's essential to find a balance in the planning process to avoid the dreaded burnout.

We talk you through our biggest planning tips from start to finish: how to decide what’s most important to you, have a clear planning strategy, and stay organised!

We know wedding planning can be overwhelming, so make sure to take breaks, eat well, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep.

We cannot stress enough the importance of celebrating the small wins. It's easy to get caught up in a constant cycle of 'what's next on the list' but make sure you take time to revel in the feeling of getting the big things done! One of our favourite ways to do this is by having a dinner date every month on the date of your wedding, a countdown, if you will! Spend time with your partner, and don't ever forget that your wedding experience as a whole should be romantic!

At the end of the day, always remember that it's your wedding, and should reflect you and your partner, no one else!

Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event (well, usually!), so getting it right is essential. With so much pressure surrounding the big day, we're here to help alleviate some of that stress! Here are some of the most common wedding day regrets to help you avoid making the same mistakes!

We talk about the importance of hiring professionals, as opposed to someone who's just 'handy with a camera,' and how this can make a huge impact on the memories you have of your big day. Plus, we give you some big tips and mindset shifts when it comes to deciding how much to spend on your vendors.

Your wedding day is not just a one-day event, it's also the start of your marriage with your partner, so schedule quality time with them into your timeline, whether it's having a first look, skipping cocktail hour to spend time together, or glueing your hands together all night (lol) make sure you don't look back feeling sad that you barely spoke!

The moral of the story is this: if you're on the fence about whether or not to do something, just do it! There's no going back, and the chances are high that if you don't do it, you'll be wishing you did.
