  • 112. [Re-release] Expert Advice For Holding Yourself Accountable On Your Solo Journey with Anne Bachrach
    Jun 11 2024

We speak with a lot of solopreneurs every week, and have started to see a pattern with some of the most successful ones: they have accountability partners or accountability groups.

Because this has come up so much recently, we want to pull an episode from the vault that we recorded over a year ago, fittingly called: Expert Advice For Holding Yourself Accountable On Your Solo Journey.

In this episode we had on The Accountability Pit-Bull,” Anne Bachrach, who says that having someone to answer to on a regular basis about your progress is a powerful motivator.

She believes that personal accountability is the single most powerful tool to help professionals improve their businesses and overall quality of life.

We had her on to discuss things like:

    • What an accountability coach is and why it's important to work with one
    • What to look for in an accountability coach
    • The type of person in a solopreneur’s life that does not make for a good accountability partner
    • Common things solopreneurs do that unknowingly sabotage their careers
    • The types of systems that can be put in place to make solopreneurs personally accountable in achieving their goals
    • Patterns with high achievers
    • The most important thing solopreneurs can do to achieve greater success and improve their personal accountability

Plus so much more. So be sure to tune in!

  • 111. Are Goals and Accountability Groups the Keys to Work/Life Balance? with Tanya Alvarez
    Jun 4 2024

Can you have your cake and eat it too? So many solopreneurs want a successful business that also allows them to live the life they want to live, but finding that work/life balance can be hard.

Well, today we’re joined by Tanya Alvarez who is on a mission to help people crush it at work and still win at home.

Tanya started her first New York Ad Agency when she was just 25. Without a trust fund or rich uncle, she relied on her credit cards and a truckload of determination. And with that, in just one year, she turned that agency into a million-dollar business.

But that's not all – while building her company, she also traveled to over 42 countries, completed the Boston and NYC Marathons, and even finished a Half Ironman.

Oh, and did we mention she was dealing with a rare condition that causes brittle bones through all of that?

    Pretty impressive.

We invited her on the show to discuss things like:

    • How to navigate through distractions when they are everywhere
    • Tactics to supercharge daily productivity
    • How to structure a practical blueprint to materialize work-life equilibrium through accountability groups

Plus so much more! Be sure to tune in.

  • 110. Tips and Strategies to Help You Thrive As An Independent Consultant with Amy Rasdal
    May 28 2024

"I’m a consultant." We've said that sentence before and so have countless others. In theory, many solopreneurs can call themselves consultants, but that doesn’t mean they’re successful ones. Finding that success can be a challenge…unless you have the right tools, strategies, and systems in place.

And that’s where Amy Rasdal comes in. Amy traded her corporate job for consulting 15 years ago and makes more money than most executives. In addition to excellent pay, she has freedom, flexibility, control, and interesting work. And she can help you do the same.

As the founder of Billable at the Beach®, Amy has helped hundreds of people start their own successful consulting businesses through speaking, workshops and various programs.

We invited her on the show to discuss things like:

    • What you need to get started as a consultant
    • How to figure out how much to charge
    • Whether or not you should ever work for free
    • How to actually get clients
    • The most common mistakes aspiring consultants make

Plus so much more! Be sure to tune in.
