  • My grandmother was married at the age of only 12. Maybe that is why my mother got off to a rocky start as well? My mother was married and had a son by an older man. Later she had to give up her child to this much older man. To make it even worse, she was not allowed any contact until he turned 18. He had no idea of her existence and thought his stepmother was the birth mother. I vividly remember the day my mother decided to pick up the phone make the call to him, and it was on his 18th birthday! My mother then married my father, long story short. He was very handsome and a full-blooded womanizer, a tall blonde hair, deep blue-eyed man. He showed interest in my mother because of her prestigious family and their wealth, and he used his looks to get her. It did not take him long to cheat on my mom, as a matter of fact, he made out with her best friend at his own wedding. He was so cheap and creepy that he even took my mom's wedding ring off her finger while asleep at the hospital after giving birth to me. The part I am missing here is where did I go after the hospital?! Mom says, "Oh I took you home for a couple of years, and then I had to give you up to your dad because he got custody of you. As it is customary in Iran for the father to get full custody after a divorce," This is where my story begins. My mom was sent to the United States of America by my grandfather. Because after two failed marriages, two kids that she lost custody of. A lot of shame and embarrassment were brought on the family. My grandfather bought her a beautiful home since money was no issue. She started a new life. However, I was left in Iran and, in all honesty, have no idea for how long I was living at my dad's house or the foster care my dad placed me at. It was a foster care facility for wealthy people who just did not want to care for their kids. I am trying to figure out how old I was when I finally got to the US and what happened to me in the time from when I was born and up to five years old. Because it looks like that is when I got here. I may well have been even older, possibly six or seven. My mother is ashamed, and I'm sure so is my family. So they have been continuously covering up and rewriting reality. I don't have the energy to continue the fight to find the truth. So I have embarked on the search for the truth all alone by myself. Moving here didn't stop mom from getting married, again! She has been married five times, and each marriage has been worse than the other. When I was ten years old, My mom married a mobster who ended up being the leader of one of the most fierce Persian mobsters. He started the very first Persian TV channel in North America and produced Persian concerts and Persian entertainment. At first, when he started the TV, it was a great thing because he spoke against the regime and allowed female entertainers to begin dancing and singing. I thought it was beautiful and liberating, but soon it turned into partying, money, drugs, and rock 'n' roll! Sad but true, I was that little girl that was just an inconvenience in their mind and lives. My stepdad was now the big shot here in the United States, and I think he let the fame get to him. All that was important was more drugs and more money. Just like Scarface! He took full advantage of his power. The binging on drugs turned him into a monster. He started abusing me physically from the age of ten. The very first time he slapped me across my face was when I chose not to call him daddy. It was just a week after he married my mom. The abuse only worsened. I thank my lucky star that he did not abuse me sexually. Sadly I had to endure lots of sexual abuse from that point on from people in the world of entertainment affiliated with my family.
