  • Week 73: Hidden Hearts - What Jesus Knew About Us
    Jun 14 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

As we wrap up John 2, a haunting truth comes to light: While Jesus works wonders and performs miracles, he doesn't entrust himself to those who believe in him because of the signs and marvels they witnessed. Why? Because he knows the human heart! Through our verses today, we explore the reasons behind Jesus' miracles and their revelation of God's glory and humanity's fallen nature. These verses force us to reflect on the state of our hearts and the urgent need for God's renewal.

This week we read from the following Scripture:

    • John 2:23-25
    • Exodus 7:3-5
    • John 9:1-3
    • John 11:4
    • John 3:19
    • Matthew 7:21-23
    • Matthew 6:19-23

We also use the following resources:

As we get ready to start chapter three next week, let's remember Jesus' deep understanding of humanity and His redemptive mission. These points are important to remember before delving into the world's most famous verses next time.

  • Week 72: What Made Jesus Mad?
    Jun 7 2024

We get mad. Everyone does it. Some even go as far as to say, "Well, Jesus got mad so it's okay." But is that really a Biblical statement? When we understand why Jesus got mad and what he said in some of his most heated moments, we realize very quickly that Jesus is not like us when it comes to anger. On top of that, as we will explore today, Jesus told us about what signs and wonders we can expect to see as believers.

This week we will be reading from the following Scripture:

    • John 2:13-22
    • Ephesians 4:26, 27
    • Ephesians 4:29
    • Psalm 4:3-5
    • Matthew 12:38-42
    • John 20:24-29

  • Week 71: Christian Dating with Special Guest #7
    May 31 2024

This week, I am thrilled to have our seventh special guest as we dive into the subject of Christian dating—Ms. Gabryella. Not only is she a devoted listener and a dedicated follower of Christ, but she's also my fiancée! I am incredibly fortunate and overjoyed to have her join us to explore this significant topic. Her presence is a tremendous blessing in my life, and I'm confident that the Biblical wisdom she brings will be an immense blessing to all of you as well. Throughout the episode, she emphasizes the importance of prioritizing God above all else, assuring us that everything else will align accordingly if we just do that. Additionally, she advocates for and reinforces the need to love God and each other, in exactly that order.

In our modern society, many young people, including teenagers and young adults, often face challenges when it comes to navigating the complexities of dating and relationships. How are we to navigate this as Christians, especially when the culture is telling us one thing and the Bible tells us another? It is our sincere hope and prayer that through this episode, we can offer valuable insight and provide essential spiritual guidance to help you prioritize seeking God first in both your life and your relationships.

We look forward to seeing you again next week as we continue our study in the Gospel of John!
