  • The Tetris Murders - 640
    Sep 8 2025

September 1998 – Palo Alto, CA. Tetris co-creator Vladimir Pokhilko was found dead with a stab wound on the right side of his neck. His wife, Elena Fedotova, and 12-year-old son, Peter Pokhilko, were brutally killed. The case was ruled a murder-suicide, but the local Russian community insisted it was a Mafia hit. More than twenty years later, investigators are still searching for the truth of what happened.

I enjoy the thoughtful and sensitive story telling. Both hosts are knowledgeable and articulate. I also enjoy the sounds of their voices.

I really love this podcast! Justin and Aaron do an amazing job telling each story and giving all of the facts. they have opinions but they aren't bias and have a good banter with each other as well. I have gone back and listened to all of the old episodes because I love it that much! Check it out!

I love this podcast. it's obvious that you two have different beliefs at times, but that you also share most of the same values, so it is a well-balanced show.

excellent

I’m always looking for a podcast that gets great reviews and is voluminous so I was excited to start Generation Why. I couldn’t get past three episodes. I felt like they didn’t bring much of anything new to their chosen topics and the guys were just painful. It’s like dragging rocks to get them to make their points- that weren’t that insightful. I skipped ahead a dozen shows to see if they picked up speed as the season went on- nope.

Had high hopes
