    Elisabeth Elliot was a missionary and speaker who experienced great trials and troubles during her lifetime, but she followed God wherever He led, regardless of the cost. She worked as a missionary in Ecuador even after the death of her husband Jim Elliot at the hands of the people they had come to serve. Later, she returned to America and served by writing and speaking Biblical encouragement.
