Thank you.
I still have a difficult time talking about the pain of missing my children’s lives because of my ex-husbands abuse. I just want to thank you for bringing the words to me. The shock of it all crippled me at the time- and still does sometimes. My children are now young adults and still don’t understand the truth. Thankfully (for my sake only) I am not alone. This podcast is a gift from God. Thank you Thank you.

Real and raw
He really put himself out there. Like so many of us out there have gone through it is raw and a source of pain that just rocks you as you retouch that pain again. It effects all aspects of our lives it is deeply rooted as our children are. Deep.

I was excited to finally find something about PA
… until I hear the comment in the first episode regarding different reasons children are taken away. I am not someone who ever leaves reviews nor do I get offended easily.
The comment that you make, Lawrence, where you talk about people who have got their children taken away due to their disease (drug addiction) will more than likely get their children back. Then, I’m not sure who you are referring to when you say, *We* will not get our children back (not a direct quote). This is insinuating that this podcast is for another group … not sure what your group is or “we” is ..but you make it clear that you are a different group than those who may have been struggling with their drug addiction/disease.
For the record, I am in recovery, and I have been robbed of my 1 year olds daughter first everything, and my four year old son who never left my side before this. Literally, not even to use the restroom (tmi). I was never absent, always got so excited to plan birthday parties, and always making sure that I kept up with scheduling and signing my children for school, doctors appointments, etc. I never missed any time given to me within the joint custody agreement, and my children always wanted “one more day with mommy”.
I do not have the 15,000 that my ex (his mommy) has paid so far to get his way, and it’s starting to look more impossible to just be their mom everyday. No texts back when I’ve just asked about their well being.
I just want to understand who your group is, and let you know that even if I do things to prove myself.. there’s always one more excuse on why I can’t be the mom I’ve been for 11 years until now.
