  • January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and in honor of this and all victims and survivors, I wanted to spread a bit of awareness, based on the work I've done in my own community over the past 15 years.  I also share a spoken word piece that I wrote about 10 years ago as a compilation of several people's stories.   These are real people who have overcome so much because they had support and resources.  

    We can all do SOMETHING to help prevent this horrific crime and also to help those who have been impacted by it...and the truth is...we are ALL impacted by it whether we know it or not.

    TRIGGER WARNING:  There is intense and disturbing content in this episode that could be triggering for some, especially those who have suffered sexual traumas or those with PTSD, etc.
