  • I Can Only Imagine - In This Will I Be Confident - Bonus Episode
    May 25 2024
This bonus episode came to mind to share as I was reflecting on the lyrics of the song "I Can Only Imagine," written by Bart Millard of the Christian music group MercyMe. There is a confidence that isn't in us, isn't in our circumstances, isn't in even life itself... but only found in the Lord of lords and King of kings, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. A couple of points I would like to highlight for this episode are also actually promises in the Word of Truth. 1) The Peace of God that surpasses all understanding WILL guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. 2) Being transformed by the renewing of your mind requires consistent practice: Practice makes permanent. The confidence we find is not in our own understanding. What does the Word say? 3) Not being conformed to the world includes the ways, beliefs, perspectives, definitions, societal norms, cultures, and other temporal things that are here one moment and gone the next. 4) Eternal and temporal are two very different ways of existing. How your existing? In Him, we live, move, and have our being. Lyrics to I Can Only Imagine I can only imagine what it will be like When I walk by Your side I can only imagine what my eyes will see When Your face is before me I can only imagine, yeah Surrounded by Your glory What will my heart feel? Will I dance for You, Jesus Or in awe of You be still? Will I stand in Your presence Or to my knees will I fall? Will I sing hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all? I can only imagine I can only imagine I can only imagine when that day comes And I find myself standing in the sun/son I can only imagine when all I will do Is forever—forever worship You *Repeat Chorus and Tags* --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/aprildmetzler/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/aprildmetzler/support

  • No Words Day 14618 by April D. Metzler - Bonus Content
    May 11 2024

No Words Day 14618. #nowords In a world full of noise, over-communication, and static... I release this sound. 7+ minutes. What sounds of your truth arise through stillness with the Lord? It is not always necessary to put words to the sound of our life. Something I do throughout my days is this... meditating with the Lord on my life's journey and releasing sounds that reflect that journey. No words needed. Release the sound. #perfectionnotrequired #yourstorymatters #yourvoice #yoursound #youarenotalone #whatdoyouhear #quiet #stillness #sound #song #story #Oklahoma All Rights Reserved © 2024 Dawn's Mercy Music April D Metzler Released May 3, 2024

  • The Goodness of God - Worship & Biblical Reflection - Bonus Episode
    Sep 7 2023
A bonus episode inspired by Holy Spirit after reading the lyrics of The Goodness of God written by Jason Ingram / Brian Johnson / Ed Cash / Ben Fielding / Jenn Johnson. I was driving down the road visiting with the Lord in some dedicated to Him windshield time, and He brought this song to my remembrance. This outpouring is intentional for you today. When it comes to the Lord's strategy and walking by the Spirit in obedience, we must release these things. We never know who they are for, but God does. And that is His goodness in action! There is a very strategic, very specific timing of this particular "sound" and Rhema word that has to be released right now today. Although I have many things on my agenda today, I laid them all down to speak this over a recording. As you listen, I encourage you to put it all down - no distractions, just listen. Just be in the moment in His holy presence. Focus to hear what the Lord has to minister to your heart through this sound and word. I know it is for someone - is it for you?! Maybe it is even for multiple and many ones, but definitely for one, indeed. So, it had to be done. I pray that it blesses each listener that tunes in. Prayer of Agreement: God, You alone, be praised and glorified in all we do. Help us to submit it all to You, Father. Every ... last... bit of it. Be our all in all, in Your fullness, Abba Father! In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask that these things be taught unto us, even more by the Spirit, as we walk and abide and remain in You. You in us and us in You, Mighty God! Let us know what United in Christ means in totality! We give You our "Yes" of submission unto Your Lordship in our lives and finish this with our Amen of acknowledgment of Your faithfulness and our own awe in Your very presence, saying "so be it" as we continue to stand in Your love. LYRICS and proper acknowledgment of honor for this A cappella cover of "The Goodness of God" I love You, Lord For Your mercy never fails me All my days, I've been held in Your hands From the moment that I wake up Until I lay my head Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God And all my life You have been faithful And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God I love Your voice You have led me through the fire In the darkest night You are close like no other I've known You as a Father I've known You as a Friend And I have lived in the goodness of God (yeah) And all my life You have been faithful (oh) And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God (yeah) 'Cause Your goodness is running after It's running after me Your goodness is running after It's running after me With my life laid down I'm surrendered now I give You everything 'Cause Your goodness is running after It's running after me (oh-oh) 'Cause Your goodness is running after It's running after me Your goodness is running after It's running after me With my life laid down I'm surrendered now I give You everything 'Cause Your goodness is running after It keeps running after me And all my life You have been faithful And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I'm gonna sing of the goodness of God (I'm gonna sing, I'm gonna sing) 'Cause all my life You have been faithful And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I'm gonna sing of the goodness of God Oh, I'm gonna sing of the goodness of God Goodness of God lyrics © So Essential Tunes, Capitol Cmg Paragon, Bethel Music Publishing, Shout!
