  • Reaction vs Response as a Parent
    May 16 2024

It is perfectly normal to react emotionally to situations and events - things that we disagree with, that we think is unfair but it is how we calm these emotions before we respond that is important. You want to respond using your logical brain, acting from a place of love without being ruled by big emotions.

We look at ways to regulate yourself when you feel overwhelmed with emotion and look at the benefits of responding from a calm and rational place. Let go of the need to be right!

The best reaction is no reaction (outwardly). You still need to feel the emotions but just don't hold on to them, let them flow!

Failure happens to everyone at some point. This week's pod looks at reframing failure as a learning opportunity, growth, a chance to pivot!

How liberating for our children if they can begin to see failure as a positive step forward in them figuring out a solution - failing forward!
