Don't Miss This

I nearly let the title scare me off. Boy am I glad that I didn't. I was looking for a lighthearted comedy, not a raunchy romance novel. I absolutely got what I was looking for. The author has a fun narrative and a quirky sense of humor in their storytelling.
I wholeheartedly recommend this for a listen.

Amazing Mystery (not just for Jo Firestone fans!)

I am HUGE Jo Firestone fan so naturally I listened to this as soon as it came out. As an avid mystery reader I am so pleasantly surprised by what a good plot this book has! (and I mean this in the best most complimentary way!) When comedians come out with books it can sometimes feel gimmicky but this is a story that stands on its own even without Jo’s forever charming narration. I will be recommending this book to Jo Firestone fans but also to anyone else who wants to read/listen to a very compelling and gripping mystery.

Can’t wait to figure out whodunit

I started listening to this as I do most podcasts, because I was out of credits. I’m so glad I did! Marie/Luella is strangely relatable for me and the authors voice is a welcome change from the generic female podcast voice. The reality show concept is so ridiculous that I’m surprised it hasn’t actually happened and i love the comedy aspect to the mystery. I listened to all the available episodes and now I have to wait to see who did it!

Delightful!!

I truly wasn’t sure if Jo’s self publishing snafu was a bit or not, knowing her humor but either way this was an absolute delight. I’m ready fort he next one!!

Listened Twice

This is a truly delightful story. I love the premise, plot progression and various twists and turns. I laughed out loud, often - even guffawed. I fell in love with the narration. I want more from Jo Firestone and Luella van Horn, can't get enough!

Breezy funny fun

A whole lot of fun and while read by the author can sometimes be a trap, Jo Firestone is incredibly delightful and her performance adds a whole other level of funny to it.
