He specializes in institution complicity, enabling culture & sexual assaults. When he was reached out to by private investigator, Dan Barber, about the murder of 12 year old Jeremy Bell in November 1997, this case took notice and a true direction for justice for both the victim and other victims of SA in school. June is Pride Month: today we sit down with special guest, Wyatt Voorhees, to discuss gender dysphoria and the journey of identity and experiences. Gender dysphoria is a psychological condition characterized by a significant incongruence between an individuals experience or expressed gender and their assigned gender at birth. This causes substantial distress in social, occupational, or other important areas in life including emotional distress/mental health, social challenges and much more. At least 121,882 children ages 6-17 were diagnosed with gender dysphoria since just 2021 (per the National Institutes of Health NIH.gov)

The name Natalie Holloway came across our tv screens and interrupted our nightly show when the news announced a 18 year old student was missing in Aruba on a school trip. 19 years later, we still don't know "Where Is Natalie? What happened to Natalie". Van Der Sloot went on to come up with extravagent stories, to include extortion from her mother Beth Holloway. And 5 years to the date of her disappearance, Van Der Sloot was on the prowl yet again in Peru where he murdered Stephany Flores. Now imprisoned, we talk about the disappearance of Natalie Holloway, Stephany and conspiracy theories that crossed oceans.

POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia)
What is it? What is this diagnosis that is becoming more common since Covid? We are hearing more about it by those affected and speaking up, but what do we know about it? This episode gets PERSONAL!

POTS is a condition that affects blood flow & can cause a range of symptoms like dizziness, fainting, and rapid heartbeat when moving from lying down to standing up. It is also usually in conjunction with another underlying diagnosis, such as auto-immune or other conditions. I was diagnosed in January 2021, and still don’t have answers. It is like I’m living stuck inside my body. I sit with Courtney Spies, who was diagnosed just in 2023, after a trip to Aruba with her husband ended with her barely able to walk, unable to work and without answers. Those with POTS search for a diagnosis, knowing there is something wrong, but unsure “what is going on with my body” and struggle with finding the diagnosis name that is changing the rest of their life. And even after getting the diagnosis, it doesn’t change your life. It is a challenging journey, but we are all learning about our health every day and taking steps towards managing it. This episode is for our fellow POTS warriors, we see you and stand with you (or sit in our case).
