  • Summary

  • In 1980, Jean Harris shot and killed her lover Herman Tarnower. She was arrested and charged with murder. The case made headline news all over because Jean was the headmistress at a prestigious school for girls and Tarnower was a cardiologist who co-authored the best-selling book, "The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet Book". But what exactly happened that fateful night of March 10, 1980? Did Jean Harris commit murder or was Tarnower shot in a tragic accident? Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this infamous case. Tarnower had become a household name after his best-selling diet book began filling household's all over the country. He and Jean had a 14-year relationship that ended in his death. Poor attention paid to important details

I find this to be true with many of the podcasts. I realize this is a podcast & they are summarizing cases. I also think I would love to hear less random chit chat and more in depth information concerning the crimes & cases they cover. Perhaps there is a better option available and i have yet to find it. I watch buzzfeed’s unsolved & a variety of other shows. I don’t find this particularly humorous, so I would hope it could at least be more informative. Sadly it is not.
