  • Jack is making his move to South Lake Tahoe, but is still frequenting the San Jose area. Just as the DB Cooper communications wind down, murders begin to occur again with the final letter from DB Cooper being mailed the same day as an unsolved murder. Not much of a coincidence that there were no unsolved murders during the commission of the skyjacking and the communications that ensued. 1972 is a new beginning of serial murders and the end of the DC Freeway Phantom with one final murder.
