  • Here on The Blind Rage Podcast, FRIDAY THE 13TH month comes to an end. Join us as we wrap things up with 2003’s FREDDY Vs. JASON, a movie fans of both franchises had been clamoring for. Sadly, what we received wasn’t at all worth the wait. FREDDY Vs. JASON is a mishmash of plot holes, weak performances, bad dialogue, and some of the worst one-liners from everyone’s favorite charred villain. There are better quips and retorts in FREDDY’S DEAD. Hell, there were better quips on FREDDY’S NIGHTMARES, for God’s sake. Though the movie is deeply flawed, to say the least, its biggest sins were filling the shoes of Jason with someone other than Kane Hodder, and having one of Freddy’s victims call him what is probably the most offensive of all gay slurs moments before coming face-to-face with her grisly demise.
