    Are you in a season of waiting?

    Have you been asking God for things to happen and they just haven't?

    Have you just felt stuck where you're at and you really don't know what direction God wants to take you next?

    If you said yes to any of these questions, trust me when I tell you that I get it. I've been there...

    Quite honestly, I am here right now. I have been in a season of waiting lately. I feel like I've been going in and out of the season of waiting and then feeling like, "Oh, okay, maybe I have a sense of direction" and then something happens again and here I am waiting again. There are a few things that I want to go over today because we have to truly learn to be content in the season of waiting and stop trying to rush the process. We have to focus on what God is calling us to do right now at this moment while we're waiting. We have to just be content in that waiting and do what he wants us to do right now while we're in this time of waiting and not trying to go over here, over there, or do this or do that. We have to just be content right where God has us right now in this waiting season.

    Has something happened in your life that you never expected to happen?

     

    Maybe you've been questioning God.. "Why would you allow this to happen to me? This is something that I never expected to happen in my life. Why would you allow this to happen to me? I thought I was doing everything right, I thought I was trusting you, I thought I was doing all these things, Why did this happen?"

     

    So today I want to go all into trusting in God through every aspect, through the good, the bad, the trials, the tribulations, all of it.

    Has your life been chaotic lately?

    Have you been searching for a moment of peace in this chaos and you have been having a hard time finding it?

    Have you been so consumed by the craziness of your life lately that you haven't allowed God's perfect peace to give you rest?

     

    Trust me when I say.... I get it.

    This world is full of craziness and chaos and things happen every day. We are going to get overwhelmed and stressed out, and things are going to happen, but God gives us peace. The peace that He gives us is unlike anything else. It's not the peace that the world gives. So we have to allow God's peace to perfect us. We have to allow that peace in our hearts and not be consumed with all the craziness going on.

    "You are not good enough."   "You are not worthy of love."   "You are going to fail again."   "You are not going to do great things in life."     These are just a few of the lies that the enemy may be telling you. The enemy feeds us with lies every single day. We could go on and on about all the different lies of the enemy, and a lot of the times it's things that we have believed ourselves, but these are the lies of the enemy and they are not true. Maybe these things are from past situations and we've just become accustomed to these lies, but God gives us truth and we can hold on to the truth of God's words. So In today's episode, I'm going to be going over holding on to the truth of God's words and using those words as our weapon against the lies of the enemy.

I want you guys to be able to recognize it and to be able to know there that there is a constant battle happening right now between good and evil. The devil is always on the prowl, there are good spirits and bad spirits, and it's a constant battle between good and evil. We have to make sure we're standing firm in our faith because we're going to face this spiritual warfare every day. So I'm going to go into some scripture about standing firm in our faith, being equipped with everything that we need to face these battles of spiritual warfare, and being able to stand firm whenever it happens.

    Has someone ever betrayed you?   Do you feel like you have to take matters into your own hands whenever you're betrayed by someone?   Do you feel like you are responsible for making sure that this person pays the consequences for their actions?     Trust me, I get it. If you've said yes to any of those things, I get it. I've been there.     I'm here today to tell you guys that God's got us. He has our best interests at heart, He's working in our favor, He protects us, and he provides for us. We don't have to take anything into our own hands. We are not the ones in control. God is the one that's in control. He will make things right and we just have to trust that He's going to make things right. Us trying to do things on our own and trying to pay somebody back for the things that they did or make sure that they pay for their consequences, that's just going to cause extra stress in our lives. That is going to cause extra problems and it's not going to do any good for anyone, because the only one that's in control is God. Whenever we try to take things into our own hands and we try to do things on our own, that's us doubting that God can take care of it and That he can make things right.

    Have you just been going through it lately?     Have you been feeling like there are so many different things that I've just been piling up lately, one after another, disappointments, setbacks, obstacles, just different things piling on and piling on, and you feel like you don't have the strength to get through all the different things that are happening in your life right now?     Have you been going through moments of weakness that are almost impossible to overcome?     Trust me when I say I get it. I've been there       Over these past couple of months I have gone through so many different changes in my life, so many obstacles, so many disappointments, and just things that I have really had to overcome. The only thing that has gotten me through it is God and the strength that He gives me every single day, every single moment. That's why I wanted to come on here today because I know someone else is going through it. I know that someone else is dealing with the same type of struggles that I've been dealing with and I know that I can help you to remember that God gives us strength and we have to lean on that strength every day. So today we're going to go over some scripture of the strength that God gives us. I'm also going to give you some steps to implement in those moments of weakness when you just feel like you can't do it anymore to remember that God gives us strength and to be able to lean on God through every aspect.
