Dr. Gonzalez is an expert in his field and the two certainly share a love for the sciences.

    Guillermo Gonzalez is a Senior Fellow at Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture. He received his Ph.D. in Astronomy in 1993 from the University of Washington. He has done post-doctoral work at the University of Texas, Austin and at the University of Washington and has received fellowships, grants and awards from such institutions as NASA, the University of Washington, the Templeton Foundation, Sigma Xi (scientific research society), and the National Science Foundation.

    Melissa Cain Travis earned a Ph.D. in Humanities with a Philosophy concentration from Faulkner University, where her dissertation research focused on the natural philosophy and natural theology of Johannes Kepler. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Science and Religion from Biola University and a Bachelor of Science in general biology from Campbell University. She serves as a Fellow at Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Cuture, and has taught university courses since 2014.
    Melissa is the author of "Thinking God’s Thoughts: Johannes Kepler and the Miracle of Cosmic Comprehensibility (2022)', 'Science and the Mind of the Maker: What the Conversation Between Faith and Science Reveals About God (2018)', 'and contributed a chapter to The Story of the Cosmos (2019)."

    EMF Director Larry Moody wears several ministry hats. As President of In the Game Ministries, Larry Moody works in an outreach to adults that seeks to equip the laity in the area of lifestyle evangelism and discipleship. He co-labors with 52 staff members in 32 cities throughout the United States, speaking weekly in a variety of settings from Sunday school classes, evangelism seminars, Bible studies and home groups.

    Moody received his bachelor’s degree in history from The Kings College in New York, NY and a master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX. He also co-authored the book “I’m Glad You Asked” with Ken Boa.

    Since 1981, Moody also has served as the Bible study leader for the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour and presently serves as Chairman of the Board of Regents at Dallas Theological Seminary, is a Maryland FCA and Caves Valley Foundation Board Member.

    About Boyd Bailey:
    Boyd began serving National Christian Foundation as President of Georgia division in March, 2016. Prior to that time, Boyd was the co-founder and CEO of Ministry Ventures, a faith based non-profit, which has trained and coached over 1000 ministries in the best practices of prayer, board, ministry models, administration and fundraising. Prior to Ministry Ventures, Boyd was the National Director for Crown Financial Ministries and an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Boyd serves on numerous boards including: Ministry Ventures, Wisdom Hunters, Souly Business and The River Foundation. Boyd has led six radical mentoring groups over the past 10 years.

    He is the author of Wisdom Hunters devotionals, and is the founder of Wisdom Hunters, Inc., an Atlanta-based ministry created to encourage Christians (a.k.a wisdom hunters) to apply God’s unchanging Truth in a changing world.

    Boyd received his Bachelor of Arts from Jacksonville State University and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Boyd and his wife Rita live in Roswell, Georgia. They have been married 43 years and are blessed with four daughters and four sons-in-law who love Jesus. Boyd and Rita enjoy missions and investing in young couples, as well as hiking, reading, traveling, watching college football, and hanging out with their kids and 12 grandkids whenever possible.
