  • I have heard of some outrageous situations of abuse towards children, but this one had me stunned! Alesia Owens did not like her boyfriend's 1-year-old daughter and she plotted ways to get rid of the infant by using household items. They found "water beads" and "button-shaped batteries" in the infant's stomach as well as one more household item which ultimately led to her death.
