Episode 236: Lake Lanier

Lake Lanier.. Honestly I feel like that’s all I need to say. This place has so much creepy surrounding it!! There are giant catfish that have been compared to volkswagen, phantom hands pulling you under the water and not to mention the entire submerged counties that lie beneath. There are also multiple deaths and murders that have occured in or around the lake. So much to unpack here, just in time for your memorial day weekend!!

Just get to the point

There was so much nonsense that I couldn’t even stand to hear the story of Lake Lanier. I think these ladies could be a little more focused. It was annoying from the first minute.

They use the words "f*** " and "like" for a large portion of the podcast. they sound like stoned ex cheerleaders and struggle to get the story out in between the giggling and poor vocabulary. The content sounds interesting, just find someone else to tell it.

Absolutely adore them. They always have the greatest stories. I actually live right by Lake Lanier...I think they did a pretty damn good job covering the story on it. Love y'all!

Unnecessary commentary

They literally talked like 20 mins about lake Lanier. This whole hour and what mins is literally a WASTE of time. Get to the point. Constantly getting side tracked. It’s so annoying. Waste of time. If I could, I wouldn’t give any stars

Not what I was expecting

So I only got about 30min into this podcast before I had to turn it off. There were way too many side conversations going on to make the story enjoyable. There was also some rude & disparaging comments made that show just how young & naive these girls really are. I wanted a story about Lake Lanier but I got 2 random ads, 20min of side conversations ranging from somebody's pants falling off while swimming to whatever else happened (I was skipping ahead at this point), 3 minutes of back story & 8 minutes of talks about how awful confederates were & that they were to blame for much of what went wrong.....I get its their opinion but it really detracted from the story which I was wanting to actually listen too. This is more of a gossip channel than a podcast story type thing I was looking for.

First time listen to these ladies and I only made it half way through. I wish they would just stick to the topic and leave their banter out. It’s very annoying.
