  • Welcome to episode 1 of the Fistula Free Podcast where I share my experience, strength and hope which includes decades of living with Crohns disease, the diagnosis of a super complex fistula and my on-going determination to improve my overall health and well-being while searching for a cure.  For people who suffer from fistulas the overall health burden cannot be measured and the road to a cure can seem daunting and un-ending. It wreaks havoc on all aspects of a persons life and dictates everything you do. It creates anxiety, depression and fear, not to mention the stigma surrounding this diagnosis that keeps a lot of people from seeking help. My vision for this podcast is to bring awareness to this debilitating disease, educate, remove the stigma and bring hope and healing to others.  Please join me in the coming days as I talk with people from around the world who not only share their experience, strength and hope but the obstacles they overcame in their quest for finding a cure.
