Great Emotional Value

Listening to the third episode reminded me that I actually cried a bit on the first one. I love the character called Coco. She feels authentic and again the writing, the atmosphere, and believable interpersonal dynamics of the characters draw me inexorably deeper into this great podcast!

Too Woke for me

I couldn’t finish it and rarely do I stop a story before it’s over.
I am SO sick of the woke agenda being written into every form of entertainment, even when it doesn’t fit.
We are supposed to believe that the tough, retired detective was in a loving relationship with a trans-woman.
One character says “I’d love to meet her. She sounds fascinating!”, but the only info that had been given about them was that they were trans and they wanted 1/2 of the deceased’s ashes.
Swing party participants “weren’t doing anything wrong”.
And I know without finishing the story that the cop who thought their orgies were disgusting is going to be the bad guy.
