I have been looking for this for ages!

This reading of Dune is the best. It takes me back to when I first read the book. The other version of the book out there is not comfortable to listen to.

George Guidall always delivers

Dune is a masterpiece. Listening to George Guidall read Dune is second only to reading one’s own quarter-century, dog-eared paperback. Thank you for putting this here. The theatrical version was painful to attempt.

The story and narration are unDUNEiably amazing

When I watched the Denis Villenueve films in the theater, I became awed with the deep story and messages carried within them. I did some research and eventually found this recording of the novel that inspired the films. I've heard it can be a difficult read, but due to George Guidall's amazing performance, I never faced a moment of boredom. 10/10 novel, and 10/10 audiobook.

Better performance, damaged audio

The other audio recording (narr. Scott Brick and a dozen others) is abysmal so I was looking forward to this one. Guidall is great but 1 - there is damaged audio so part of the book is missing. and 2 - the story is still slow as molasses. It turns out even a great narrator can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
