  • Episode 104: Hit Me Hard and Soft + Gender "Norms"
    May 22 2024

    What's up, Couch Potatoes?

This week we discuss the new release of Billie Eilish's latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. We spill our thoughts, likes and dislikes of the album and we chat a bit about her success and talent.
In other news, Harris Butker, kicker of the Kansas City Chiefs, made headlines as he proceeded to spew his vitriol and hate speech about the LGBT community and women from his big mouth. So, naturally, we had to take some time to sh*t talk a bit and discuss our thoughts on these bogus "gender norms" that society likes to force us into. Come have a seat on the Culture Couch and chat!

  • Episode 102: Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV
    Mar 27 2024

Hey, Couch Potatoes. This week is going to be a doozy of an episode. We are discussing the documentary Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. There has been a ton of horrible information that has come out to the light these last few weeks. News that tarnishes the shows we loved to watch as kids in the 90's and early 2000's. But nothing comes close to the trauma cause to some of the child stars who were apart of the cast. This is a very heavy topic and we understand if you don't want to listen. We discuss some things that can be hard to hear.
