They both serve many roles in our community and will describe the connections from their perspective as well as the impact they coordinate as vital members of RMU.

    Colonial Connections takes a look at the Community Partnerships that are developed through the Department of Psychology. Dr. Samantha Monda, the Department Head, and Dr. Neha Pandit, the coordinator for the Master's Program in Counseling Psychology, provides multiple examples of the innovative and flexible opportunities for RMU Psychology students to engage with the community. 

    Learning opportunties become services for many areas, from children to geriatric populations, and sport psychology to accelerated programs of study, this episode will introduce the wide array of possibilities available.

    Pierce Center-RUM connects to the community in a number of ways. Colonial Connections is a podcast focused on illustrating the ideas and one of the best illustrations is the Bob and Joan Peirce Center for Structured Reading and Teaching Training. The Peirce Center focuses on supporting students in local schools working with Dyslexia. The Peirce Center trains RMU teacher candidates and trains local teacher in best practices all while tutoring dozens of local children after school and year round. These connections are discussed with our guest Amy Jackson who is the Outreach Support Specialist. The podcast is hosted by SNEHS Dean, Dr. Meyers.
