Today's hot topic is "quiet quitting." In work situations that frustrate us, it can feel easy to quiet quit but Colossians 3:23-25 tells us do things [work] to the best of our ability. It says, “whatever you do, work with all your heart...” Sometimes we can go into a state of withdrawal at work as a result of feeling disrespected, undervalued or betrayed. But we are called to have forbearance (tolerance) and self-control. In this episode we are going to talk about how we can reposition our mindset in situations that push us to quiet quit.

What is Strategy? It is a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim. Synonyms include game plan, master plan or grand design. In Genesis 41 we see how God creates an opportunity for Joseph to be liberated out of a dire situation. In the process Joseph enacts a plan of action that saves Egypt from impending doom.

So what can we learn from the story of Joseph? Firstly, it is God who creates opportunities for us and room for promotion. It may take longer than we like, but we need to trust in Him. Secondly, we can look for ways that we can apply Joseph's forward thinking to our financial planning.
