Massachusetts Democrats will have complete control of state government in just a few weeks, and incoming governor Maura Healey has already indicated that more gun control laws are coming. Gun Owners Action League executive director Jim Wallace joins Cam & Co to talk about the impending infringements on the civil rights of Massachusetts resident and what Second Amendment organizations are doing to push back.

So far, the biggest impact seen from the narrow passage of Oregon's Measure 114 has been an explosion in the number of residents purchasing firearms ahead of the measure's "permit-to-purchase" requirement taking effect, with the Oregon State Police reporting an increase of almost 400% in background checks on gun sales since Election Day.

Attorney Daniel Schmutter, who's worked extensively with the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs in challenging the state's gun control laws, joins Cam to talk about the target-rich legal environment for Second Amendment litigation, as well as an update on a magazine ban lawsuit that's already drawn the interest of the Supreme Court.

The number of sheriffs in Oregon vowing not to enforce a new ban on "large capacity" magazines continues to grow, while gun stores are reporting brisk business ahead of Measure 114's "permit-to-purchase" mandate, which, like the magazine ban, is set to take effect in two months.

Democrats have taken narrow majorities in the Michigan and Wisconsin legislatures, and may even flip control of the Pennsylvania statehouse as well. Gun control activists are salivating over the possibility of imposing gun bans and more in these new Second Amendment battleground states, while 2A activists are gearing up for legislative debates and legal challenges to any bills that might become law.

In what was overall a frustrating and disappointing night for Republicans, Florida stands out as an outlier; one, however, that can be replicated in states across the country according to Bearing Arms contributor, Second Amendment supporter, and school safety advocate Ryan Petty, who joins Cam to talk about the incredibly strong showing for pro-2A candidates from Ron DeSantis to legislative candidates who've given the GOP a supermajority in both legislative chambers.

It may have been frustrating, but it wasn't a terrible night for Second Amendment advocates, In fact, as Cam details on today's show, gun owners won some significant victories on Tuesday, and have more to cheer about than their anti-gun opposition.
