Also (and after a long time away from being mentioned on the show) there's some new Buc-Ee's talk! Seems the boys' favorite travel stop has opened the newest - and biggest to date - store in Texas. (Where everything is bigger, right?) Both BJ and Bill will be traveling in the next couple of weeks, so both will be planning their trips with Buc-ee's stops in mind.

Yet another great place to subscribe to - and listen to - BJ and Bill - the Podcast. The show is now available on YouTube Music! (Heck, it may have been there for a while, but Bill just subscribed to YT Music, and found it there...so that's a win.)

This week, some memories fror OG Fort Myers... Back when a certain beachfront resort was the "in" place to go for weekend getaways and parties. How it survived the big hurricane last year (it did!) and how it's been rebuilt, restored and re-opened for business.

That led BJ on a rabbit-hole run through some of his favorite stories of being on the road, back when he was doing standup comedy. Some of the nice - and not-so-nice hotels and motels he stayed in while on the road. Including one really scary story!

Other quick bites: Congrats to the Florida Everblades hockey team (East Coast League) for their amazing three-peat of winning their ECL Championship! And a tip 'o the hat to Dick Van Dyke for winning a Daytime Emmy award at the young age of 98! Amazing!

OK, maybe not live and in-person (like back in radio days), but doing the show "live" as a video stream on platforms like YouTube and others. Would you watch? Gotta admit, sounds pretty scary... just a couple of old guys ranting about life. Anyway, stay tuned for details.
