The cult of Ur-Gilash, a forgotten god who's worshippers were brutally murdered by Omnians in the ancient past, has been secretly revived and exacting quiet revenge on the Omnians of Ankh-Morpork. The aptly self named "Disposable Squad", tasked by Vetinari to investigate the cult and their motives, go undercover to  learn more about their sinister plans and hopefully put an end to the Omnian murders.

In an attempt to save on spending any more coin  on the city watch's budget The Patrician, Lord Vetinari, has comissioned a group of would-be-criminals to investigate these murders. Fitted with Dibbler's finest gear (quality assured) and given the vague direction of where they could go, our heroes(?) set off to solve this mystery...

Sora awakes from her coma and rejoins the group as they investigate the mysterious attacks at the university.
