After Hours ft J'Something

  • Summary

  • A singer. A cook. An entrepreneur. And most importantly somebody who aspires to be a good human being. His professional career in music started in 2011 when him and his band, Mi Casa released their hit single that went onto win Record of the Year, These Streets. Since then, year after year Mi Casa has maintained relevancy and dominated charts with ridiculous ease. Him and his band have won several awards from around the world and sold multiple platinum records. Mi Casa has traveled to over 30 African countries, toured Europe countless times, and even performed at the second inauguration of President Barack Obama in Washington DC.

It was in the midst of all of this that J started to develop a passion for cooking as a mere hobby from the comfort of his home. In 2014, the singer innocently posted a picture of a meal he had cooked at home using the hashtag #SomethingsCooking, that was when he unintentionally launched his successful career in food. From a hashtag to award TV shows, a 3 times best seller cookbook, to a restaurant as well as cooking alongside world food greats such as Marco Pierre-White, Jan, David Higgs, and many more. The musician/foodie has recently launched Something’s Cooking TV, a youtube platform, so that other food enthusiasts and creatives can have a platform to share their talents with the world. He has consistently spread the message of humility, hard work, and positivity.
