Poignant 9/11 Stories from every day New Yorkers
I love this podcast. It’s probably the next best thing to the book The Only Plane in the Sky—an Oral History, which is my favorite book of all time.
This podcast has excellent story tellers—every day survivors of 9/11 and how the day unfolded for each of them. From being trapped in the rubble, to suddenly turning into a rescuer, to being a firefighter or police officer heading home from a late shift—only to have their lives flipped upside down.
These stories are often gripping, evoking the emotion from that fateful day. But the story telling being first-hand is what makes this podcast unique. Just normal people like you and I, sharing a piece of history and their account of that day. Give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

obnoxious mid story ads
the podcast has ads injected in the middle of these people telling their story which is not only obnoxious but in my opinion unprofessional. i get that ads are needed but did you need to put it in the middle of a mans heartbreaking story about the death of his brother.
