  • In this episode we start with the collapse of the polar gates that sent the world into turmoil! We examine its impact, especially on the Elves of Ulthuan (it’s their episode after all) and their reaction to it. We see the rise of Aenarion and rule as the first Phoenix king and his war to save the world resulting in his BFF Caledor creating the Great Vortex. We then turn our gaze to the rule of his successor the great coloniser Bel-Shanaar. We then dissect the travels, alliances, and discoveries of Malekith. Ulthuan’s greatest adventurer. We close out with the fall of Ulthuan and the rise of the Cults of Excess.
