The main characters anxiety has her repeating the same thing over and over for about the first 25 chapters. It’s tedious. I’ve loved some of her other books and of course the narration is fantastic but this book —I frankly couldn’t wait for it to end. Nice twist at the end but it took so long to get there I can’t recommend it

Story might have been good had the narrator not used such a tremulous voice. It came across so whiney and annoying! I can’t believe I made it through honestly, feel like it was waste of a credit. I wouldn’t recommended audible version, maybe just regular read it would have been fine.

I’m a diehard Ruth Ware and Imogen Church fan, but the reverb/echo in the narration is ruining the story and entire experience for me. It is SO incredibly distracting that I’m having trouble focusing on the plot. Please please PLEASE fix this audio!

Imogen Church is one of my favorite narrators. story wasn't completely surprising but it kept me interested.
