This book is so underrated

I truly don’t understand why this book does not have more reviews. It is the epitome of black love. The stories are so relatable in so many different ways chefs kiss!

Each story a gem

I loved every moment of these stories. While I went to a PWI I spent many college weekends visiting friend at HBCUs (and have gone to homecomings some years since) and these stories reminded me of the special sense of belonging, the electrifying excitement of coming to new spaces and seeing the beautiful examples of love and acceptance all around. Thanks for gathering some of my favorite writers to share these stories!

Great Stories!

The majority of the stories were fabulous! Only one story I felt didn't belong in a book of short stories about love instead should have been in a horror story. The narration was excellent throughout!
