follow Tom as he literally fights his way through the world

well narrated. well written.
good action & a captivating story. meet Tom a pugalist as he works his way up in his world

Unfortunately this was not the book for me.

Well that was a complete bust! I was never able to connect with Thom, the main character. I guess the story was interesting enough but the ending... the authors couldn't even finish finish the tournament, just blah. Blah I say...

I'm looking forward to see where this book series goes, could be a great one. a solid 4 star, only reason I dock it any is I wish there was a least one other viewpoint to help with world building. I think at time it might have been a bit shallow bit it's definitely worth a credit

Slow start, but leaves you waiting for more!

When I first started I had my concerns it had a large word to build and very short time to do so. I had considered maybe this book wasn't for me but kept listening. Then I found myself getting home and not wanting to turn it off, and when the book concluded I wanted even more. would recommend and would suggest pushing thru the world building.

I listened to this while cleaning the yard. It took me awhile. Narrator very enjoyable, brought characters alive for me.

fantastic

Mr. Plamann knocked it out of the park again with this new series. this action packed as we move through the Is elimination rounds for the tournament as our young Tom grows his power in hopes to save his village and friends.

not what i expected.

I was some what disapointed, i was thinking it would have had more action in it. As it is now its a cultivation, tornament style. kinda slow. It wasnt all bad but it was more bland than anything. the lack of any real details just made for bland story, the mc who for no reason almost everyone in his village hates. A cultivation of a creature thats explained to be exceptional with no context other than that, and a plot to join a faction with no real reason other than he just got swept in and nothing more. Not bad but i was just left some what confused idk i might get a second of this series, i got this one cause of the authors other sieries.

I enjoyed the first chapter

yeah after the first chapter it goes pretty downhill I can say I just dislike how it flows it's hard to describe there was a moment where he's talk like how he studied and tried to break through the first layer and then when this expert comes along which was kind of confusing when that happened and suddenly I don't know where he can go through and he and his mind says that has to be something with the expert or whatever but it just never got to that point and two chapters after that never went back to that and overall it just wasn't working well
