Good read. Eye opening and real.

Kevin held his story for so long while his children grew up. It was nice to hear his perspective. I teared up a couple of times listening to the struggles of all involved. Mental illness is confusing. Seems like he did some growing up and put his kids first, in the end. I appreciate hearing his introspective take on the events in his life.

Completely changed my perspective.

This completely changed my perspective of this man and the work he put in to make a normal life for his children.

Wow! Very interesting to hear the other side of the story.

I had low expectations for the book and was, based on information from the media over the years, more empathetic toward Britney. My perception was always that he was “ cashing in.” I certainly don’t hold her responsible for her illness and the complexities it brings to life, but I have a new appreciation for Kevin and all he did to protect his children. He also gave insight as to the potential harm caused by the “free Britney” movement, as I’m sure her family is too afraid to express any concerns or take any steps to intervene. Unfortunately, the road for the boys is likely to be a long one as we watch their mother continue to act erratically, I hope she gets the help she needs.

Kevin Federerline just gained a new fan.

I’ve never known much about Kevin Federline, except the media portrayal of being a lazy has been that freeloads off of Britney Spears. I really enjoyed his story and I think that portrayal is way off base. The biggest things that stuck out to me were all of the high profile people he worked with and the success he had, I didn’t know all of the things he had been involved in. Also, I had a hunch, but his book definitely solidified that he takes parenting, seriously. He seems like a good person and an amazing dad. He doesn’t seem to burn bridges and has many long-standing relationships, which says a lot about a person. I think Kevin Federline deserves a lot more credit than he has been given by the public, but at least it seems that those in his circle know and he’s been able to live a good life. Best of luck to him, his family and especially those boys.

I appreciated his perspective. He has a soothing voice while
sharing his fascinating story. I recommend this book.

Not what I Expected

Already read Brittnee's book didn't know what this would be thought I'd give it a shot not a fan either way of KFed or Brittnee. But it was a good read.

Good to hear one of the other sides

As much as I have loved and do love Britney, seeing her social media (official one on Instagram), I knew there were good reasons for the conservatorship and all that went with it. The “free Britney movement” did a great disservice to Britney and her whole family, especially her boys. Regardless of all reasons why, Britney had not been “well” for many years, and now, thanks to the ignorance of some fans/outsiders, no one can even get in to help her.

Beyond my expectations

I listened to Brittney’s book, it didn’t feel right or good. I walked away scratching my head…. Something was missing or off. I didn’t expect to like this book or even believe it but wow, what a story! Living in the public eye to the depth they had to endure would make me crazy and they can paint you to be whom ever they like. This shows the layers of that life, the benefits, the fears, the consequences on yourself and loved ones.

Happy to hear the other parent’s perspective

I blew through this book. I enjoyed hearing about his life pre and post the umbrella era.
